The Bulbasaur Documentary

The Bulbasaur documentary, from Bulbapedia.com

Here in the wild, we see a napping Bulbasaur.

Presumably, it is photosynthesizing under the bright, fluorescent sun.

It doesn’t seem mobilized, yet here, in the wild, anything could happen.

…

On the topic of happenings, a wild weedling has found our sleeping friend.

Presumably to feast.

They all start by climbing up the victims back, onto the bulb, and start to drain the energy from the bulb.

Our friend has seemed to wake up, and surprisingly he is acting calmly, as if not to startle the wild weedling

He watches as each weedling member gets a turn to absorb its energy, until all of them are full, and they leave.

The Bulbasaur naps yet again.

Bulbasaur are very sympathetic creatures, and will help any Pokémon in need. This particular one, seems to have allowed its bug- like friends to feast Upon his energy when the time calls.

A hot minute later, the Bulbasaur wakes up, stretching its limbs and getting ready for another day.

It seems that it has decided to head to the nearby lake, and if that is so, then we will be on our way.

It seems we have caught sight of the Bulbasaur once again, and it is entering the shallow part of the lake, and starts to drink.

Bulbasaur don’t need to drink water, if the rain is averagely plentiful, but it wouldn’t hurt to take a sip.

We hear a short cry coming from nearby. It seems that someone is being attacked.

The Bulbasaur goes to investigate

We find an oddish and bellsprout being attacked by a wild growlithe, that is trying to steal there recently gathered berries

For Bulbasaur to step in, he would need to be butting himself in harm's way.

So naturally, a wild battle occurs

We watch as the wild Pokémon exchange tackles and growls, (I would cheer, but I'm afraid I must stay hidden) and then the wild growlithe lets out a powerful ember.

Bulbasaur knows this could potentially start a fire that will spread, if no wild pidgey are nearby to put it out, and that will cause a massive forest fire

Even with growlithes poor aim, Bulbasaur manages to take the attack head on, and then he lets out a leech seed.

The wild growlithe has a few more seconds of consciousness, and lands a devastating ember, giving a devastating burn to the oddish, before growlithe becomes unconscious.

The oddish faints, yet still, Bulbasaur needs to find a way to heal its new found friend

So it goes back to its den, and heals it with the local berries found in the forest.

This finding is a sight to behold.

The oddish is released, and the bellsprout thanks Bulbasaur with a celebratory twig, the way of thanking in this local forest, we discovered in our other wildlife encounters.

The Bulbasaur takes the twig happily, and gently settles it into the pile of many other twigs in his den
